Erase the Map: Targeted Spider Vein Solutions
Spider veins don't have to be permanent. Professional treatments can clear your skin and boost your self-esteem.
Sclerotherapy (The Gold Standard): A minimally invasive office procedure where a solution is injected into the vein, causing it to collapse and fade within 3 to 6 weeks.
Support your legs afterwards with compression stockings (20 mm Hg) during the day and avoid direct sun for 1-2 weeks for best results.
$450 per session
Contraindications: pregnancy or lactation, active blood clot or high risk for blood clots, anticoagulant therapy, allergy to sclerosant, peripheral arterial disease, auto-immune condition, immuno-suppression, cancer

To prepare for spider vein treatment, avoid applying lotions, creams, or tanning products to your legs 24 hours prior. Wear loose-fitting clothing (shorts are preferrable), stop taking blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or NSAIDs) as advised by your doctor, and bring compression stockings to the appointment. Avoid caffeine the day of your treatment and be well hydrated.

Walking is encouraged to promote circulation and wearing compression stockings for 1-2 weeks to minimize bruising and maximize results. Avoid hot baths, saunas, direct sun exposure, and strenuous exercise for 1 week. Mild discomfort and bruising are normal and generally fade within a few weeks. Results can be variable but you should begin to see some change in 2-3 weeks after the initial inflammatory process.
